Almost another inch of rain last night - too bad most of it came while I was sitting on the 4th teebox at Oaks Summit last night! I was already up 2-0 in match play on the guy I was paired up to play when the rain came down heavily. Not playing the best golf of my life, but playing well enough to be winning! My golf clubs, clothes, and even Cy the Coolest Head Cover EVER are all dried out this morning! More golf tonight if the weather holds up.
As much as I don't care for Kobe, his request for a trade (or maybe not... depends on the day and his mood) makes me wonder how much more competitive the Timberwolves would be if they had someone else to help carry the burden that KG is not able to do on his own. How many Championships are won by a team with only one All-Star anymore? It wouldn't be a match made in heaven, but any help for the T-wolves is desired. Problem is I don't think they have anyone worth trading to the Lakers.
Today's "World No Tobacco Day" around the world - so put away your carton of cigarettes, your pipes, and even the cigars for a day. Not sure what the purpose is since most people on cigarettes will still give in. As long as they don't have a "World No Blog Page Day", I should be safe on everything else.
I did forget to mention one of the best things to happen on my birthday this past weekend.... we were at Church Sunday morning and my 3 year old friend Payton went to the front of the church for the children's sermon. It was Penticost Sunday (Holy Spirit came to the Deciples and essentially formed the Church - so it was the "Church's Birthday" as well) and the start of the children's sermon asked "who's birthday is it today?" and Payton was looking right at me from the front. He said "Adam" and was correct! THAT-A-WAY PAYTON!!! Gave us all a good laugh.
Not much else comes to mind today... Enjoy the last of May, bring on the Summer months!
Haiku of the Day
Nothing new today
Maybe June will be better
For some excitement
Entertainment of the Day - Thanks for getting this song stuck in my head Pat! An interesting video of Mr. Roboto. I don't mind Styx, but this song isn't my favorite of theirs. Here's the old Cartman version of Come Sail Away.... good laughs.
Weblink of the Day - Screaming Beans.... I don't understand it either but makes me laugh.

That Payton kid sure is smart.
Must get it from his dad.
Takes after his mom.... in both cuteness and smarts!
Okay! I think I am missing something. What is your secret secret? Inquiring minds(aka: meddling Aunts) want to know!
HUGS..... Auntie C.
