• The beatbox part was very old school and one of my favorite moments of this season.... I'm sure my folks LOVED it - Catch the "Inspector Gadget" theme in there?

• Gladys Knight sounds good at 63 - and not lipsyncing.... talk about "old school"
• Tony Bennett - Still pretty darn good! Can he still play piano though?

• Carrie Underwood might be the ultimate AI Hottie.... too bad I had to watch it on mute (Country)
• The kids in the African Children's Choir were better in tune than Sanjaya!
• Greenday - crappy song but it's Greenday, they are always fun to watch. Plus they hate Dub-ya as much as I do!!
• How did Taylor win this thing last year? No wonder he's not selling albums
• Ruben and Jordin had probably the best duet of the last couple years.
• Bette Midler? Seriously? Not only is it the totally wrong genre for this show, but she really REALLY SUCKED! Blame old age (Tony did fine) if you want but she should have lip synced like Gwen. I could have used the Quad Laser right about now.
  
• More Kelly is always a good thing.... Ruben singing Beatles - not so much. Hailey looking at ME saying she "needs somebody to love" and that she "WANTS somebody to love" - that's HOT! And yes, it was directly to me, not you.
  
• Where's Clay? Wheeler was hoping to see his idol again.....
• After 2 "frickin" hours (Paula said it first) -not to mention the - Jordin wins Season 6 of American Idol. Good thing I didn't tape it since the dang thing ran 10 minutes over.
  
• Notice that the 2nd place is the only contestant who doesn't get to "sing" goodbye? Was hoping to hear Blake do a beatbox of CAUSE YOU HAD A BAD DAY.

So now I have to find something else to bore you with on Wednesdays (and some Thursdays). For those millions of people who read my blog from StacEyville, IA - eColi is in the water there so make sure you boil ice cubes before drinking the water. Funny, we were all within 10 miles of Stacyville on Saturday......

Entertainment of the Day - With the inch and a half of rain we got last night (per my oversized rain gauge which is NEVER wrong), I decided to pull out some Garbage this morning already.... I'm Only Happy When It Rains!! Much better way to start the day!
