Lots to cover today.... first thing is first:
Happy Birthday Christa! She's at home in Arizona on Spring Break and is missing the very warm weather in Iowa.... her loss but I'm sure there's plenty more to go around.

American Idol - my ranking from last night:
1) Melinda - I wasn't crying at the end, but it was good
2) Lakisha - Isn't "kiki" Larson's name for his blanket?
3) Stephanie - She looked really good and sounded good too.
4) Jordin - Spells her name wrong. Something about her still doesn't work for me on that stage.
5) Brandon - I think he was better than the judges thought.
6) Blake - Bonus points for liking MJ and Prince! Fix your collar next time.
7) Gina - She's got a tongue ring!! That's very HOT in my opinion!!!!
8) Chris R. - He looks like a straight Justin Timberlake! I think he was flirting with Diana to boot.
9) Phil - Fix those dang ears, then sing a little higher in pitch please.
10) Chris S.- Hmmmm.... keep working the humor aspect
11) Haley - She's cute and probably has some potential... still too much crying for me. Plus she used my least favorite phrase "it is what it is".
12) Sanjaya - Why are you STILL here?
Next week's theme should be Ozzy.... everyone is required to sing "NO MORE TEARS" and Paula

Now for the holidays. Today has 2 significant purposes. First off, it's "Pie/Pi Day". Now to try to explain why it's pie day. March 14 can be written as 03/14/07, or 031407, or for some 03.14.07.... cut that down to 3.14 and you get the shortened version of PI!!! So in honor of Pi Day, I am bringing in Pie from Baker's Square for my team. What a good manager I am! Everyone should have a piece of pie/pi today in honor of the once a year event!

And the best part of today? For those who are lucky enough to celebrate - it's actually Steak and BJ Day! I seriously don't make these things up! Christa loves the fact that she shares her birthday with such a wonderful holiday for guys. Grill up the steaks for dinner (nice weather outside to help) and then work your magic for your ladies and hope they help you celebrate the true meaning of the Holiday. Get her some Pie to help the mood! Good luck with that. I will not be celebrating this year, yet again....
Haiku of the Day -
No celebration
For me on this joyous day
Still holding out though
Entertainment of the Day - Some new music on my laptop thanks to Kahn. There was a bit of a flashback hour while I listened to Bangles, Snoop Dogg, MC Hammer and some new stuff from Barenaked Ladies. Susanna Hoff was one of my favorite "Ladies of the 80s".
Weblink of the Day - New Strong Bad email to enjoy today!
