Beware....

So I'm a bad friend for forgetting Juanita's Birthday yesterday.... makes yesterday possibly the greatest day of the year!! How were the steaks for those that celebrated? I brought in good pies from Baker's Square for my team and didn't have a single piece!!

Today is March 15th which is "The Ides of March" and for those who had to read Julius Caesar (not his brother "Little" who went on to seek pizza fame) you'll remember that today was the day the Senate guys committed "tyrannicide" (killing of a dinosaur especially a Tyrnaisaurus Rex... I think). You'll remember Brutus, Albinoius, T-bonus, Longitudinus, and Maximus Decimus Meridius (aka - Maximus Kickus Assus) all plotted to kill Caesar for the good of the people. This is what they do in GOOD countries that want change.... not suggesting anything - just throwing it out there.

In other holiday news, today is also International Day Against Police Brutality. How are you going to celebrate that????

American Idol saw the "dismissal" of Brandon - did he get hit by the "going first" curse? Was relieved that Sanjaya was at least bottom two. Too many dang 13-15 year old girls with cell phones voting for him.

And tournament time is upon us. So far I have no employees telling me they have to leave at 11 to go to doctor appointments or that they are staying home sick. Although some may be watching online (which we did last year while in the lab). I'll be joining the other 20,000 people that are thinking of going to BW3 today to watch some of the games over lunch.

I'm rolling tonight - stop by Colonial and I'll buy you a beer and you can stay to laugh at me and my pathetic attempt to roll a bowling ball. My final outing of the season I think.

Entertainment of the Day - In the American Idol tradition - I've been listening to the new Daughtry CD (Chris Daughtry from Season 5 - THE ROCKER) which is really good. I also saw the new Katharine McPhee video yesterday on Yahoo! Music and she's very cute... just thought I'd share that.
