Happy Hump Day

American Idol Day - Gwen Stefani was the special guest so of course that means all the performances are songs by..... everyone BUT No Doubt. I was hoping to hear a little of B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Gwen does look pretty cute for being 37 years old! She has too many looks though as there were times I hardly recognized her.I was surprised that the show was only 67 minutes long. Unlike every other "reality" show, when the contestants become fewer and fewer, the show actually gets shorter! The days of 2 hours on Tuesday, 2 hours of Wednesday, and an hour on Thursday is long over.

My ranking for last night:

Melinda - Weird outfit, only criticism I can find:)
Blake - Nice call with The Cure - bonus points for a "Cure-like" outfit. Anyone else notice that?
Lakisha - Pretty good, she's so loud when she sings, but so quiet when she talks. If only every woman could be that way! (I'M KIDDING!!!! Don't hate me for saying what every guy thinks!)
Jordin - Finally a No Doubt song! Weird choice though.
Haley- still going for some sex appeal, but not nearly as much as last week:(
Chris/Justin - It was ok, Paula wants to jump him.
Gina - She looked good, tongue ring always looks good. Song was kind of crappy though in my opinion.
Phil - I still hate the Police
Chris Sligh - could be in trouble, go back to DC Talk songs - Sting SUCKS!!!!
Sanjaya - I've got nothing.... seriously

Unfortunately there were no crying 13 year olds.
