More Snow

Some surprise results on American Idol. Like the 2007 contraversial contestant still sticking around even though she sucks (no pun intended). I was very surprised to see Nick go home. Still agree with Wheeler's idea of voting for the person you think should leave.

I was laughing most of the show though last night as I think every person was crying on stage. And Sunny!!! I like you but quit crying like a little girl up there on stage. You looked like you had just seen Alien 3 and felt as pissed off as the rest of us did.

Alien 3 is one of the movies I've cried at (due to how disappointed I was). The other ones were My Girl (never expected the Home Alone kid to get it), With Honors (Joe Pesci was too funny to die), and Beerfest - I didn't have a beer in my hand and watching that movie made me really thirsty.

It's snowing still here in Rochester. We are experiencing the "10,000 Lake Effect" I think. Rumor has it that another 4-6 inches is on the way today! Might be a good time to head home at lunch.

March Madness talk is increasing.... my early picks at this point would be Ohio State. Still not sure what to think about UCLA. Maryland might surprise some people too!

No huge plans this weekend other than bowling and watching some movies. And finishing Obama's book (I'm about 75% of the way through it).

Have a great weekend, enjoy the snow for those of us stuck in Rochester!!

Haiku of the Day -
Sliding all around
Even with the four wheel drive
Mostly on purpose

Entertainment of the Day - I finished watching The Ringer last night which is the movie with Johnny Knoxville where he pretends to be mentally handicapped in order to compete (and win) the Special Olympics. Yes, it's cheezy - and yes, there are parts of the movie that I'm surprised they can get away with. But it is actually very funny. Plus Katherine Heigl is pretty hot!

Weblink of the Day - I'm guessing from yesterday that some people are better at "parking the boat" than others. And yes, I am thankful that couch is no longer in my possession. Sick-o!! Today is a new King Of The Town cartoon short from your friends at Home Star Runner
