One More Time

A different approach tonight with the finale... I'm judging the judges - even Paula with her broken nose. Who breaks something in their body because of a dog? Kind of like slipping on the ice when your tank of a dog goes running off in the winter. Who has that happen to them?? (you know who you are)

Round 1 - Simon was honest (and I agree, Blake had the better first round), Randy is dressed like an idiot with random non-helpful comments, and Paula was as random (not to mention indecisive) as usual..... Simon in 1st, Randy 2nd, Paula 3rd.

Round 2 - Simon's comments for Blake were right on, but I really hate that song - pretty simple for Jordin. Randy kind of cheapened up on his comments (not to mention his outfit), Paula... what good is she? I think she broke her ears too. Same ranking as last time.

Round 3 - Gotta like the shot of Seacrest signing an autograph.... "Seacrest out". Randy had some good points, Paula used the word "frickin" which might have been the drugs, Simon was Simon. Paula gets 1st for her subtle swearing, Simon 2nd, Randy 3rd. BTW - Blake's 3rd round song sucked, Jordin was out of tune but the crying at the end might have "sealed the deal".

Yeah, I'm picking Jordin to win. Although as usual, Chris Daughtry had the best performance of the evening, even with his eye shadow.

Red Wings lost last night (although they made it interesting at the end) so hockey is pretty much over. Nobody cares about Ottawa and Anaheim.

So life goes on for another 7 months. Seacrest out...

Entertainment of the Day - I watched a very unusual movie recently titled "Tideland". It is a strange movie by Terry Gulliam which starts with a disclaimer about how strange it really is. Never seen a movie with a disclaimer from the producer like this. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but not the best either. I will give the 11 year old Jodelle Ferland props for an extremely wonderful performance in the movie. After having a very disturbing childhood and ongoing experience (where she loses both parents to drugs), she meets some interesting folks and the entire movie is seen through the eyes of a child including her dolls who she talks for. Labled as an "Alice in Wonderland" type movie but I guess I see only a little similarity.

Weblink of the Day
- Find the star.... just try it for a few levels and you'll catch on.

"Nobody cares about Ottawa and Anaheim."

I hate to break it to ya, but nobody cares about hockey, period.
