Don't Hassel the Hoff

Those crazy Canadians are back at it with a 220.5 pound weighing COIN.... yeah, that's right - a coin for your piggy bank that weighs more than you do.... or at least most of you! 21 inches in diameter even! What is unusual in that article is how it has a $1 million face value (in Canadian which is like $5 million US), it's actually worth twice that using the current price in gold and that it's 99.99 percent pure gold! So why do this? Remember this is the same country that gave us Celine Dion, Alex Tribeck, and Barenaked Ladies!

Golden State bumps Dallas and the annoying combo of Mark Cuban/Dirk No-longer-playing-itzky out of the NBA playoffs! That's almost as good as the Bulls winning the whole thing! Any sports TV analyst who said that they predicted this is lying - while it isn't surprising looking back, everyone thought this was the year for Dallas. I did stay up to watch the whole game which finished close to midnight last night... luckily the late games are almost over with for both NBA and NHL.

Other quick random thoughts:

• Spiderman 3 opens today - I'll see it on DVD:) As is usual with my movie viewing preference.
• Richmond race this weekend in what should have been the "BJ Pitzen 400" but I didn't win - I seriously would have named it that. Instead it's "Jim Stewart is lame 400". I'll predict TONY Stewart as the winner just because he's due and he does well at Richmond. It'll be the first non-win for Hendrick in a COT race.
• Red Wings play Saturday, then again on Monday.
  
• Have you seen the David Hasselhoff drunk video yet? I'm looking for the "extended version" without much success yet....
• Here's the "extra" from The Pursuit of Happyness where they show off the crazies and their fascination with the Rubiks Cube. I want to be one of these Crazies!!! The blindfold one is the most impressive!
• Sunday at 12:34 am - it will be 12:34 on 05/06/07... go celebrate!

Entertainment of the Day - One of the other weird things I've always wanted to learn to do is the pen twirl thing... in high school we called it the "Debater's Twirl" since all the debaters did it all the time. So here's a video to teach you and yes, I "practiced" for about 5 minutes yesterday and who knows, I may get it down yet.
