Random Thoughts

Anyone else see the MTV Movie Awards last night? It's actually one of the better ones in recent memory although the music performances were pretty week. I just can't get into the "Umbrella" song. And as much as I don't really care for Sarah Silverman, I thought she was funny and not afraid to attack people sitting right in front of her. Like Paris Hilton! That was actually very funny. And the repeat kiss between Will Farrell and "Borat" (winner of Best Kiss from Talladega Nights) - was it funny? yes.... wrong? yes:)

The best part of the show was the fact that they were practically sponsered by the new Transformers Movie. Lots of previews and "Exclusive Clips" shown throughout. I'm getting more and more excited to see this film and I plan on squeezing time in on the 4th of July to go see it here in Rochester... let me know if you're interested in joining. Optimus Prime still may rank as the coolest good guy in all of cartoons!

Paris Hilton has checked into Jail. Jail for Hollywood Celebrities has become the "in" thing now and going to rehab is on its way "out". Much better for publicity. There were some comments made last night at the MTV Award Show directed at Paris while she was sitting right in the audience. Pretty gutsy and then of course the camera jumps right to her not laughing at the jokes. Then she indeed turns herself in at the end of the evening. That's "hot"!

A productive weekend around the house. After 14 months of putting off me finishing my landscaping in front of my house, I found and bought the matching rocks. It's looks nice, now hopefully no more of my plants die in the off season. I'll post a picture of it soon. Now I can start the landscaping on the North side of my townhouse and take another 14 months to finish that!!!
