Random Thoughts

Today is the anniversary of the death of Elvis. There have been numerous celebrations around the country marking the 30 years since his passing - including a new car by Junior for NASCAR that has the King on the car.... pretty sweet, but no #8 next year. Car will be seen at Richmond in September.

But we're also celebrating today the fact that kickoff is now only 2 weeks away! So celebrate with me by using this picture of True Cyclone Power as your new desktop (or printed off and on your door like I have it). GO CLONES!!!!

And if you think you're being a bad parent by telling your child "no".... read this and you'll realize what a true bad parent does. Britney takes the crown for "shitty parent" by giving her kids caffiene, yelling at them, and even trying to whiten their teeth!!!

Cool weather has returned for a few days to MN and I am again a happy camper with the fresh air. Lows in the lower 50s at night (even in the 40s?!?!?!) and highs in the 60s this weekend. Even the weather is starting to show signs of being ready for football. I suppose it's also time to change my ringer to the Fox NFL theme again!! Unless someone can find me a good (non-marching band version) mp3 of the ISU fight song. Not happy with those lately. Should also be perfect weather for golf tonight.

Entertainment of the Day - We're also less than 2 weeks from the Velvet Revolver concert!! I had a Stone Temple Pilots 2 hour time slot on my drive back to Minnesota on Monday. I don't know that they put out any bad songs on their 5 Studio CDs!! Just one man's opinion though.
