It's Fair Day here in Rochester. Hopefully nice weather for those that have the desire to go to the county fair. Me? I have too much crap to catch up on so I'm going to head home to work from there all afternoon.
Only a couple of thoughts to share on this Friday:
My golf was ok last night - not as well as I was hoping it'd be, but still improving week to week. Just in time for the end of the season!!!
When we were at post-golf last night, the XGames was on. And THIS INCREDIBLE DROP from 50 feet up the half-pipe came over the tube. I thought the guy was dead. Miraculously they're saying he hasn't broken anything. Amazing amazing.....
As much as I hate the continual focus on Barry Bonds (with additional minute to minute updates on A-rod and Glavine which are equally as annoying) until he breaks the Home Run record. And how the subject is "tearing everyone apart"!! Whatever. BUT I do think there's an interesting match up tonight with Greg Maddux (my favorite pitcher of my lifetime) going against Barry. Maddux (who doubles as Matthew Broderick in the off season.... have they actually been proven to be two different people?) had some great comments regarding the "record breaking pitch" and he said basically it's not too hard to throw 4 balls outside the zone to not give up the magical hit.
And my front headlight went out recently. Tried to see how hard it is to change a front bulb and WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS!!!! I have no intention on paying some auto shop money to change the light bulb.
