Hurricane Dean (no, not Howard Dean.... although remember his tirade 4 years ago that led to his name being a household name? Pretty much acted like a hurricane... YEAH!!!!!!!!) is pounding Mexico with wind and rain. I bet you can get some awesome rates on resorts in Cancun this weekend! Just another reason to watch gas prices rise this weekend as we approach Labor Day (when they "should" start going down by conventional theories). Good luck with that. Funny how $2.40 sounds like a good price for gas.

Still way too much pre-election talk going on BUT did you see Barack on The Daily Show last night? Can't help but get excited when this guy speaks due to his professional and educated presence. His best line was when asked about the media focus on his "inexperience".... he said that on paper, remember that Cheney and Rumsfield were both "extremely experienced" but look how horrible that turned out. That's a great point!!
Also have to bring up the new theory on what caused the Minneapolis bridge collapse... I don't make this stuff up!
Sports
I'll only highlight stuff:
- Texas Rangers scored 30 runs in a baseball game - that's as many scores as Lindsay Lohan's coke habit in one evening....
- Saints and Chiefs play preseason football tonight.... so it's the "Holiest of Holies" vs the "Native American BigWigs... but not as offensive as some of the college football mascots for some reason"
- Braves struggle YET AGAIN with the shitty Reds - Spankees only 5 behind the Red Sox.
- No golf league tonight - went to the range last night and the swing is coming along. Just need to get my consistency up.
