Happy Birthday Jill!!! Are you 21 yet?:) Your present came yesterday with the late move by your husbands driver spinning Gordon out of the way. I'm sure you both loved seeing that! And thanks Brian for sending me pictures of your TV screen - very classy.

More rain last night - more rain this morning - more rain tonight.... and more storms tomorrow.... seriously! Golf league is finished as the course is one big puddle right now. Is it considered a water hazard when the entire green is one big lake?

So my thoughts about Michael Vick and his dogfighting "guilty" plea.... what an idiot. The best is his comments from a few months ago where he's wearing like three hats and looks total "thug" style and says "I'm not guilty" or whatever. Living the thug life now! Looks like I'll remove him from my fantasy football list for a long time! But other quick sporting news to point out - Santana and his 17 strikeouts for the Twins the other night!!! HOLY COW!!! Boy is showing off why he's the best in the league! They should name a hurricane after him, instead of Howard Dean.

We're a little over a week away from kickoff to the (hopefully) AWESOME Cyclone football season. There was a vote going on to help decide the new helmets to go along with the new uniforms for the new coach in the new season with a new WINNING record. How's that for new? I voted for the cursive Cyclones which is still my all time favorite helmet. May have to go buy one for my mantel now. Click on the helmets in the middle of the page to see what they'd look like with the uniforms. Have to wait 8 more days to see how they look in real life!

US Open starts this weekend. Arthur Ashe Kid's Day is Saturday in Queens (in case anyone's in the neighborhood). It's a fun day with lots of stars - plus it means next week starts the late nights of watching AWESOME TENNIS!!!

Entertainment of the Day - Yeah, haven't exactly watched any movies lately, so we're back to music listening. Velvet Revolver Concert is NEXT WEEK!!!! But today we're going with some Garbage (the band, not the stuff they are collecting today on the SW side of town). I'm Only Happy When It Rains is from the first Garbage album ("Garbage") and here's the strange video for you. Don't know that I've ever seen it myself (since MTV never shows videos post 1993).
