Movin' On

American Idol Gives Back was on last night. I can honestly say that I'm glad I recorded it and was able to fast forward through most of it. Nobody went home, performances were pretty week (I don't bother watching the country performances) and even Kelly Clarkson looked "average". Bono was much hyped and he made a 3 minute appearance at the end of the show and other than that..... two folks go home next week. As for bringing an Elvis impersonator and a Canadian hack???

Jack Black was the best part of the show - having Seal tell him he was good at singing "Kiss From a Rose". JB and KG are nuts!

Anyways.... while you were focussed on American Idol, you probably missed the following important stories:

• Why rent a limo when you can go to your senior prom on a tractor? And folks in North Dakota wonder why we make fun of them.....
• Reese tells Jennifer to back off of Jake... if you're interested
• Spinal Tap is reuniting (for real) - time to turn it up to "e-lev-en"
• Math shows how to pour a perfect head of beer.... good ol' math coming through!

Entertainment of the Day - I watched Night at the Museum last night and it was not very good in my opinion. Maybe I'm too biased since I hate Ben Stiller. I think the idea was ok and the graphics in spots were well done, but it's pretty much what you expect (funny parts in the previews) and life goes on. Much over hyped but maybe kids like it more.
