Getting Cold Again.....

A busy morning already, so today might be a little brief. But I figured I've done well so far in the new year blogging daily so I'll keep the momentum going!

Big football weekend as we go from 8 teams to 4! Imagine that, a "playoff" style method to determine the National Champion. So if the NFL were college football, New England and Dallas would automatically play for the championship and they would still play it February 3rd with no games in the month of January. Does that make sense? So why does it in college football? Oh right, money and the television networks.

Anyway, I'm excited to watch the games this weekend - Hoping for a Seattle win over the much hated Packers... but I think the Packers will win:( So Packers win, Giants beat the falling Cowboys - New England and Indianapolis will each win to set up yet another rematch of these two great teams next week.

The Australian Open starts on Monday - I'm sure another title for Federer is on the way. Women's tennis is always exciting with a lot of players standing legitimate chances of winning in every tournament. Exact opposite of the men currently!

The biggest losers this week were the media who showed they really DON'T have a clue when it comes to predicting the political outcomes. Watch John Stewart this week and you'll see how every station has a different reason why a different candidate will win. Who do you trust then? You trust the FINAL numbers.... as long as Florida is not involved. My advice is to research each candidate yourself and VOTE - ignore the media. Oh yeah, and let's get rid of the Electoral College.... WAY outdated and in my opinion only discourages people from voting. Disagree with me? BRING IT!

And I know I promised more pictures of me and the BEAUTIFUL Sarah from our Florida adventures. I'll have a bunch more next week, but here's one today for everyone to enjoy:

And another picture that I was playing around with Photoshop last weekend.... oh the fun you can have with this program!

Have a good weekend!

Wow, Sarah is taller than I thought (or you are shorter than I remember).

As for the Electoral College - I think it should stay (it is in the Constitution for a reason). I think it more evenly distributes the popular support to win the Presidency and it isolates election problems. But that is just my opinion. :-)

Dude, just don't buy a snow shovel for a Valentine's present for Sarah.
