Now that that is over with - this was the worst night of American Idol.... EVER! Hunky's night on AI, shoot me now. It brought back good ol' memories of Hunky's though and $5 all you can drink night. Ah, what would we have done on Thursday nights without it....Most overused statements that need to disappear before next season (next week would be even better):
- Just ok for me
- You made it your own
- "Dawg"
- Twang twangity twang twang twanggggggg....
On that note, I do want to give Simon props for the Desperate Housewives reference and Seacrest (rumored to be with Terry Hatcher). Paula still sounded drunk which is no surprise.
My reviews (including the bottom three - you just count from the bottom from "one" till you get to three Pitzen) - Not that the overall rankings matter, only the bottom 3:
Chris Daughtry - Let the boy sing rock please!!! This week can't end soon enough.....
Katharine McPhee - That kicked ass.... only performance tonight that did. She gets my vote tonight.
Kellie Hickler - She still doesn't do it for me. She's still too dumb to win this thing, her comedic purpose is losing appeal.
Paris Bennett - I'd put her possibly in the top 2 overall after this week.
Duece Young - gotta give him props, he performed non-country and I was happy. Tonya, your boy done good.
Mandisa - Sang fine, just don't look at what she's wearing - WTF!

Elliott Yamin - "it was just ok for me".... this country night sucks.
Taylor Hicks - He'll be around next week... but not too long after that.
Bucky "the slack jawed yokel" - they put him last on purpose. I still think he goes home this week. His country performance sucked considering that's all he can sing. Note that Bucky is married---- interesting.
In National News.... our "morale" administration keeps on clicking as the 4th highest ranked official was arrested for soliciting a teenage girl. The worst part of the article isn't what the sick-o did... it's the fact that he was "placed on administrative leave".... FIRE HIS ASS ALREADY!!!!! What happened to zero tolerance, especially for our federal governmental employees. In the business world, that guy would no longer be an employee. Anyways....
Song of the Day - In honor of country night, I pull out my very short list of favorite country songs to share with you. Of course you have to have She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy by Kenny (have fun at the concert tonight Nikki), and Fishin in the Dark. That's all I'm in the mood for today.
