- The Mii Plaza on the Wii tops out at 100 characters. What a bunch of crap.
- Detroit is up 1-0 after an impressive Game 1 against the hated Dallas Stars. Hopefully the Minnesota fans are cheering against Dallas as well!
- Taiwan folks think it's funny when I tell them that 90 degrees with about 70% humidity (my Friday weather here today) is "Minnesota August Weather". It's called "Spring" here. I don't think I know what I'm in for. Yes, I thought it was rather warm today - is it October yet?
- I've been here over a month - still no illegal DVDs:(
- China has more English speaking people than the US...... seriously!
- Coffee after a big lunch in Taiwan has little effect on keeping me awake - just like in the US!
- I can still whip the computer at Double Dribble (Nintendo 8 bit) - 110-46 on easy level, 85-60 on medium level.
- I have some work to do on my Mario Kart (N64) skillz again... hopefully the Wii version is here before I return.
- Netflix.com, NBC.com, and Fox.com don't allow you to visit their videos on demand sections from outside the US. Been trying to find a way to alter my IP successfully for almost 2 weeks now (I'm so very close).
- My $300 tax rebate from Uncle Sam will be arriving soon - hopefully no "expires in 30 days" otherwise I'll be pissed! Here's a funny video (from Minneapolis) of how people will use it to "stimulate the economy". I have a feeling it will pay for about 2 tanks of gas for a lot of people.
- The Office is in rare form since returning from the Writer's Strike. I'm caught up again to the Pam wearing Glasses episode. Very funny stuff.
And because some of us are still singing it from yesterday:
