Everything in Slow Motion

So an unusual set of postings today - but hopefully will carry you right into the weekend! By the time you read this, i will probably have already seen the new Indiana Jones Movie, and be on my 2nd beer at a late dinner/happy hour!

I found the following movie quite interesting and funny at the same time.

Despite having cool music, I enjoyed the "wait for it.... wait for it" effect that it has. But in my "free time" today I went looking for other slow motion videos. I think my favorite find was Paul Nord's channel on youtube that has multiple random things in slow motion. He does some nerdy things (the physics of Bernoulli's Principle will fascinate all the enginerds out there like myself) and some unusual videos (the bear parachuting was border line disturbing). I think I just like Paul's choice of music for some of his videos.

But I think this one is by far my favorite!!!



So basic rule of posting Slow Motion videos on the internet? Use Cool Music!!! Or crappy music and exploiting the anatomy of a female in your demonstration!

I have to practice my Karaoke songs this weekend in preparation for a Karaoke outing next week. Yes, Kiss by Prince will be on that list (assuming I have my falsetto at that time) but I'm trying to regather my list. You can assume a blog about that next week. Until then, I'm open to all suggestions. Most Taiwan people do not know who Stone Temple Pilots are so not as much fun to do one of their songs. I'll have to make sure to have 12 songs in my queue so I can dazzle everyone here with my vocal abilities. Of course it'll be even better after a couple of beers! Can't wait for Sarah to get here as I know she LOVES karaoke!
