On To Another Plain Plane

It's Friday, I'm on my way to Chicago this afternoon to see the Incredibly Beautiful and Wonderful SARAH!!! Everything's packed, I have 3.5 hours of class left, then a 2 hour flight out of White Plains, NY. Then back to Rochester on Sunday evening to get back to "normal".

As usual on Friday, my predictions:
  • Cyclones are AT Texas Tech this weekend (not an off week as I was thinking they had). Cyclones need to bring their best offense to keep up with the "Red Rockets" (that one was for you Drew!). Texas game is listed at 11:30am next weekend for those who are affected!!! I expect Biscuits and Gravy for tailgating. Cyclones 31, Pink Raiders 28.
  • LSU vs Florida will be fun to watch! Two teams I don't like but are playing really well. LSU will win at home though by 20something.
  • Purdue over Ohio State??? Sure....
  • Red River Classic in Dallas.... but this time Oklahoma vs Texas isn't for Championship level of intensity - I still think Oklahoma is darn good and just messed up last week. Sooners by 17.
  • Missouri is still undefeated, remains undefeated after taking out Nebraska Saturday Night. Sorry, if Iowa State can "have a chance" throughout the game last weekend (one interception caused the 14 point swing), a real team like Missouri will handle the Shush-kers.
  • Kentucky doesn't keep in the top 10 with a loss against Spurrier....
  • NFL: Chicago @ Green Bay will be an interesting game Sunday night, but do we want either team to win? Kind of like war with England vs France, do we really want either one to win?
  • NHL has begun.... still too early to pay attention since it'll be 85+ degrees in Chicago this weekend (with snow coming in 2 weeks!)
And if you're home shopping in the Minnesota area, consider buying the departing Kevin Garnett house (only 53.5 Million... and that's in dollars, not pesos!!)

Anyway - Seacrest OUT..... have a great weekend!

Damn- I hate 11:30 games. Looks like the best tailgating will happen after the final play. Hope Eddie has time to do his hair & make-up.
