Ask and ye shall receive. Here is the beautiful Emily from Ames (no, not the Emily that adds intelligent comments to my blog on a regular basis). She will be the big "ONE" next week. She's a single non-smoking female that likes to eat, sleep, cry from time to time, and is starting to enjoy walking. It's still faster to crawl but that will change. Oh, and she's a HUGE Cyclone fan. Unfortunately she looks a lot like her daddy but hopefully that too will change. Click on the picture for a larger view.

Hey BigShow, Long time reader - I love your Blog! I'm a HUGE sports fan and all I could read in the papers and on any sports webpage was about this "Wonderlic" IQ Test..... despite sounding perverted, what exactly is this "Test"??
Well Adam in Rochester.... You sound like an extremely intelligent and handsome man. I bet you attract all kinds of attention from people because of your charm and culture that just radiates from you. Anyway, I'm glad you asked about this "Wonderlic" Test. I too was curious so did some research.
First off, here's where I found some sample questions. And please remember that this is NOT an exam for entering the 9th grade, this is a test given to professional athletes that are leaving college (yes, this means they actually got into college in the first place as football does not draft High School Students) for the NFL, some to be making 10s of millions of dollars in the next year.

Or if that one is too tough, how about:
7. A train travels 20 feet in 1/5 second. At this same speed, how many feet will it travel in three seconds?
I don't think either question is fair and here's why: The first one could confuse a player that might be used to the Chinese Calendar which doesn't celebrate New Years on January 1st. Or maybe he is Jewish so again, they use a different calendar. As for the second question, this is entirely too tough as we don't know what kind of TRAIN is in question here. This could be a choo-choo, a bullet train, or maybe even Thomas the Train? Thomas will probably have to make some stops along that 3 second time frame so it's not fair to ASSume it will go 300 feet.
I found it interesting as well to see some "Famous Scores" of athletes.... Most of your common famous quarterbacks are in the upper 20s, lower 30s. A Chemist averages 31, A Programmer 29... but a Handsome Guy like you Adam, i'm sure would score a perfect 50!!

Webpage of the Day - Today is National Pancake Day!!! We don't have an IHOP otherwise we could get free stack of cakes this morning. Might have to find something for lunch though to celebrate!!

I think you should have considered putting a disclaimer by the pic which Emily is close to dropping her head to the table and looks a little "out of it"...making certain that your readers know the bottle in front of her IS her fathers!! Thanks for the pics "Uncle" Adam!!
