More Snow

Thanks for all the fun comments about Hazel. She hated the picture but as I told her, it's my blog so I can post whatever pictures I want. If she wants different pictures, she can start a blog. She then told me she'd leave that nerdy stuff to us professionals. Blah..... She'll learn to appreciate the nerdinesss!

Yeah for more snow... now that it's actually December when you usually think of snowfall. We had enough that the snow trucks were out in the early early morning waking me up! I did find an advent calendar which I haven't had one in years. For those who weren't spoiled as children as I was, an advent calendar has a different piece of chocolate that you open the little compartment every morning to get. So you get 25 pieces of chocolate total over 25 days. Problem is that as kids the candy was usually all gone by the 15th of December. So I'm determined to only eat one a day till the 25th. Today's chocolate was in the shape of a little package wrapped. They should do Playboy Advent Calendars where there's a different Chocolate Playmate every day to open and eat. Just an example of my "Lateral Thinking" skills again....

It's Thursday which means we'll be bowling tonight. I think it's Krabby, Me, then Fish. The team that took 5 points during a 2 week stretch. Not sure what happened to the rest of the team. Maybe it's my inspiration that helps the team win!!! I know it's not Pat's as yet again he's ditching the team. He'll be singing along with Journey up at Mystic Lake. I sure hope they are paying you to go to Journey bubba! We play the Varments who are just as evil as any team in league. Anyone interested in pre-bowl, bowling, or post-bowl is welcome.... just let me know you're coming so I can save you a seat!

Thursday also means we go from the final 4 of The Apprentice down to final 3. Adam was fired last week (and rightfully so) which leaves 3 of the women and Randal. I'm kind of surprised that it's lopsided after the rough start by the women. I still think Randal is so far above the other candidates and Rebecca is a strong 2nd. My prediction for tonight is that Felisha will be fired since Trump loves Alla. What bothers me about Alla most is that she cannot lead without having positional advantage. What I mean is that she makes a fine Program Manager, but when she's not PM for a task, she still bosses people around just as if she was PM and blames whoever else is in charge as being ineffective, etc. She's one of the PMs that can't handle others doing it their way. Look how well Randal can lead a team without being PM of his team. That's very important in the real world to be able to lead as a team member and not having the "title" to influence others. Just my two cents worth as the future CEO of IBM....

Song of the Day - Holiday by GreenDay was in the CD player this morning as I came in. The live version which is faster and more "punk" in my opinion!

Video of the Day - The Hunt For Red October was on last night. What a quality flick!! I would put that movie easily into the top 10 of all time. I should put that list together for you sometime. It's scary to think of the events during the Cold War and how basically the US and Soviet Union were sitting with their fingers on the "Nucular" button ready to blow each other up. How many of you got that last joke?

Webpage of the Day - Saw a list of the top 10 highest paid Hollywood actresses. It kind of surprised me that Julia Roberts topped the list but whatever. I figured Nichole would be high as would Reese Witherspoon but some of the rest surprise me. There's no Brittany Murphy or Rachael McAdams:( They'll get there eventually!
