A Bunch Of Stuff

Llama's won in a landslide 6-3. Christine said that there were 8 llamas for sale in the Mayo Classifieds last month for $100 each!!! I live about a mile from the llama farm in Rochester, but I know even if I was in the llama zoning rules, my townhouse association wouldn't allow it. Dangit!

It was -9 degrees on the Trailblazer this morning when I drove in. Now that's cold:) It still has a way to go till it gets so cold that "things don't work quite right". Oh don't worry Christa, we'll get there yet! Where not only is it a challenge to get your car started in the mornings, but the garage door freezes.... stores shut down because of the cold and how unhealthy it is to go outside. Meteors start falling from the sky....

Gas shot up to $2.15 a gallon! WOOHOO!! We had a whole day and a half under $2 here. I think the gas station gorillas couldn't find enough "1"s to put on the signs out front so figured it'd be faster and easier to just go back to over $2. Guess I haven't figured out what event caused this sudden spike. It'll be February before they get below $2 again... just in time for traveling season to begin.

Tom Delay is a whiny brat. You broke the rules so suck it up and admit you were wrong. You won't get jail time, but your record is now tarnished. I hate politicians! Just wait till Martine and I run for president/vice president! We'll fix the system!

Journey is still a crappy band. Reminds me that I have rehearsals starting again tonight..... no, we don't play any Journey over in La Crosse.

So last week's Apprentice was probably my favorite yet because Trump did the right thing and got rid of both of the members of the "stab you in the back" girl's team. I've said for quite a while now that Alla is a strong leader, but only when she has the positional power. Alla can't lead from the group. Look at Randal - even when he's not PM, he is a leader but does so without taking power from those who are "in charge". Rebecca is similar. It'll be fun watching those two go at it for the final episodes. The best part was Alla thinking she got off easy and then Trump saying "Sit down Alla!!" then firing her! YEAH!!

Song of the Day - No, not Journey. Thanks to Shaw, I now have a bunch of video of U2 at the Live 8 concert from last summer. U2 did an awesome performance of Seargant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band with "Sir" Paul McCartney. It was neat to see how respectful Bono was of Sir Paul knowing that no matter how big u2 becomes or how Bono loves to be center stage wherever he performs.... he still has nothing on Sir Paul. And I think he enjoys the honor of performing a Beetles song with a legend like that.

Video of the Day - I watched a little bit of Monty Python and the Holy Grail this weekend. Still can't believe you've never seen that Drew. Let me know when and I'll bring it over sometime with a 12 pack of beer for us. LOTS of drinking games in that one!

Webpage of the Day - Victoria's Secret is causing trouble again. Parents complained of course (since they never let their children play video games or watch ANY sort of TV that shows just as much on real humans, not just a mannequin. Parents are just dumb sometimes.....
